That’s right! Saint John & area families have relied on Grapevine Events’ twice-yearly sales since 2016 to help keep the rising cost of outfitting kids manageable. Our repeat consignors pay for growth spurts & next season’s needs by selling last season’s gently-loved items. One family has been saving up their consignment commissions & is almost ready to pay for their Disney vacation!
The average commission cheque for Spring 2022 was $350; a nice little boost for back-to-school shopping, Christmas planning, or saving for a future rainy day or fun vacation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simple! Register now. Prep & price your items at home — yes, YOU set the asking price & there’s NO haggling at the sale! Bring your items to drop off; we’ll have Exhibition Park, Saint John transformed into a thrift store with clothing racks, toy displays, boutique sections, seasonal items, & so much more. We bring the shoppers, you collect a commission cheque for up to 80% of the sale price. That’s it in a nutshell!

THE CONSIGNMENT PROCESS
There is a $10 fee to consign with us; for Fall 2022, this fee will be deducted from your commission cheque.
Commission cheques are sent generally within two weeks of the event ending.
The base commission rate for a traditional consignor is 65%; if you sell an outfit for $10, you’d get $6.50. Grapevine Events keeps $3.50 – to go towards the costs of renting space, marketing, equipment, etc.
Consignors are NOT required to help at the event; however, if you are able to be a Team Member, you maintain a greater percentage of the sales, up to a total of 80%.
Some consignors find it difficult to price & prep all their items, so we offer a Busy Parent Tagging Program. For an additional $10 & a drop to 40% commission, you can have one of our veteran consignors tag all your items & bring them to the sale for you.
